Concord Museum presents

david hackett fischer

Pulitzer Prize winning historian, David Hackett Fischer, joins us for an evening reflecting on his career, what he’s learned since his landmark text Paul Revere’s Ride, and the role of Concord and neighboring communities in the early days of the Revolution.  David Fischer’s remarkable contributions to American History can be felt through his years as a professor at Brandeis University, along with notable books including Washington’s Crossing, Albion’s Seed, Liberty and Freedom, and The Great Wave.

Due to an unexpected health issue, this program has been postponed.

The writing is lively, the research (as documented in appendixes, bibliography, and endnotes) thorough. Best of all, the thinking is fresh and clear.
